A good 18th century English carved pine chimneypiece. The frieze with a shell motif to the centre flanked by scrolls and swags of carved foliage, fruit and flowers. The jambs carved with bell flowers and the opening framed by a continuous ribbon and stylised flower head moulding. Circa 1740. Restored.
